Bio & Description
I earned a Bachelors in Biology and Psychology at Fordham University, while also competing as a Division I Cross Country/Track and Field athlete. Following my undergraduate studies, I earned a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at New York Institute of Technology. While earning my doctorate degree, I also became certified in sports and conditioning. During this time, I coached high school women’s Cross Country and Track and Field, leading the team to multiple championships, and earning qualifying spots at indoor Nationals and at The Penn Relays. Currently, I work as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient Physical Therapy setting and also privately in Brooklyn, NY. I treat an array of patients from young athletes to older clientele; from those suffering from repetitive injuries looking to return to endurance training to those who may recently have under went significant surgical procedures. I am Level I certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Functional Movement Systems, and Maitland and Level II certified in Neurokinetic Therapy. From my love for education and from both my training as a Division I athlete as well as my current training for Ironman triathlon, I strive to provide the most effective treatment to allow patients to return to optimal performance.

While I treat a wide range of diagnoses and ages, I thoroughly enjoy treating athletes, novice to masters, in cycling, running, and swimming sports. Specific areas of focus include hip, knee, shoulder, and back.

Following college racing, I competed in three NYC marathons with two Boston Marathon qualifiers, seven half marathons, several Olympic and Sprint distance triathlons qualifying for USAT age group nationals, and finally, completed two 70.3 Ironman with a 140.6 Ironman on the horizon. I also enjoy playing lacrosse, softball, and trail running.
Affiliations with other Hospitals, Clinics, Clubs, Teams, etc.
Personally, I am a member of Full Send Triathlon. Professionally, I work closely with NYU, HSS, and Mount Sinai hospitals in the NYC area. Even though I am no longer coaching high school running, I still create programs for endurance athletes who are returning to compete with their local running clubs including Prospect Park Track Club, Central Park Track Club and North Brooklyn Runners.
